About us
We like to think of the Foundry Bell as a local with more to offer. Our refreshing drinks options have been given as much thought as our delectable menus, with cocktails, cask ales, bold reds and crisp whites to suit every mood. There are cosy corners inside for quiet suppers, and a garden built for brighter days and long, sun-soaked evenings. With a private dining space for bigger gatherings and plenty of reasons to return through the week, it’s no surprise we’re often named among the top restaurants in Wokingham. Just a stones throw from Earley, Bracknell, Winnersh and Twyford, we’re a pub that feels part of the community — familiar, welcoming and just a little bit special.

Gabriel was an excellent host and added a touch of flair to the meal. He’s a great asset to the restaurant. The food was exceptional, including the corn bread and hummus. A really lovely meal and would recommend coming here for summer eve meals.
After a disappointing experience at The Foundry Bell I posted a review detailing my experience. (I also addressed it with staff on the day). Within a day or two a team member had responded to my review offering a direct conversation about my experience. Ultimately I was offered a complimentary meal for two by way of apology which I accepted. I am a firm believer that we are all capable of making mistakes but true customer service shows itself when dealing with a complaint. I have to say all the staff demonstrated great customer service by recognising where things had gone wrong and apologising. We were treated to a fabulous meal which we really couldn't fault. The only reason I have given 4 stars for 4 and not 5 is that my menu choices are a little limited (gluten free) but I accept that's on me! The food I was served really was delicious. We were there on a Monday evening and the place was absolutely buzzing with people. The bar was busy and the restaurant appeared almost full. The service was warm and friendly, and as I say the management had done everything possible to rectify earlier errors. We will be sure to return.
Great pub roasts! One of the yummiest roasts & desserts had in a long time. All the food tasted very fresh. A special thanks to Nadia for looking after us. We went for the Mother’s Day set menu and it was incredible. Definitely returning soon 🤍
We recently visited The Foundry Bell as a family and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with something for everyone to enjoy, and the quality was excellent throughout. There was also a great selection of beers and wines, which was a lovely addition to the meal. A special mention must go to Jo, who was incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming from start to finish. Her excellent service really made our visit even more enjoyable. A wonderful family-friendly pub with great food, great drinks and outstanding customer service. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning!
First time coming to The Foundry Bell. Lovely atmosphere. Great place to come with friends or family. Service was good and the food was great. I had the warm bread to start and Caesar salad for mains (this was a bit too sauce heavy for me) otherwise great. Stand out food was the mango sorbet!! 😍
