About us
The Duke has a great team of long-serving staff, with regular customers enjoying the extensive menu offered. Found in Woodside, just off the main road to Ascot from Windsor Great Park, the Duke offers a wide variety of food from the bar menu to our extensive A la Carte menu. There are always some Chef’s specials available daily too. With a choice of roasts and more, our Traditional Sunday Lunch menu is also very popular.

Four of us went for a friend's birthday lunch yesterday. We had a table booked for 12.30 and sat by the window at the front. The lovely young lady that served us was very friendly and helpful and got us some drinks within minutes of being seated. The menu has quite a large selection, plenty to choose from. I had the roast Lamb which was a very large piece of shoulder and it was perfectly cooked. It came with boiled potatoes and carrots, broccoli and cauliflower again perfectly cooked. For pudding I had profiteroles and they were very tasty too. Everyone enjoyed their meal, we weren't rushed away from the table at the end, it was very relaxed. I will definately be going back again.
I visited this place for a business meeting and had a quick lunch. The atmosphere is very nice, and the service is good as well. They have a very extensive and quite good menu. I recommend the Fish and Chips or the Shepherd's Pie. In my case, I ordered the chicken breast, and honestly, it was very dry.
Nice quiet pub with decent beer and cozy nooks for eating and drinking. Decor is a bit chintzy and Hallmark!
A warm friendly pub/ restaurant serving a variety of wonderful and tasty food. I had the salmon which had a sauce which is out of this world. Great! absolutely great
Brilliant meal, large group all served quickly and accurately. Friendly and helpful staff. Gluten Free catered for after speaking with staff before booking. Clean toilets. Will definitely return.
